I'll be getting out more in August.... July has been nuts, not one ride! Little dusty out there anyway. I really want to go up and see what has happened to Pearl Lake.

I'll talk to the hubby and see what the plans are. Saturday is probably best for us. We are pretty new riders and I only ride a small bike and Ken may be learning his new dr650. We are not familiar with the area so pick a place/trail/road.
Be fun to get a few together, pack a lunch etc.

Not sure if we'll be there but if we are 10-1030 sounds good. Took the new-to-us bike out on the road last night and tried her out...no hiccups, once it's running.

Hope to be there, hubby is picking up a new bike tomorrow from pistolpete in Van. and the dr650 is looking for a new home.

Hi new to the board,,,but just letting you know I tried getting into pearl lake a couple of weeks ago but they were helicopter logging in the area so they only let me go in as far as spur 1000...but know the area pretty good I wasnt to dissapointed so we rode into truckedaro caves and did a little spelunking....The area around the caves is all marked for falling....way to close to the caves!. If you did decide to go the pearl way there is a chance that the rent a cop wont let you in due to fire danger....Sounds like fun and who knows maybe I might show up at timmies and meet you people and go for a ride!

Sorry we missed the ride. Would have loved to but had a family emergency. Will keep an eye out for more rides though, husband and I would love to get out.
