Ihave only had my DR for a couple of weeks and only put 3-400 km on it. It has a total of about 1800 km on it. A couple of days ago when I was pushing it into the garage I noticed a squeeking sound from the rear wheel. It would start then stop then start on the same area of rotation. The next morning when the bike was cool and I pushed it out it was gone, but was back when I got back from my ride.
I noticed that the rear rotor was darker than the front and it was quite warm compared to the front rotor and I use more front brake. Today I adjusted the rear brake pedal as per the book and went for a ride. When I got back the rotor was pretty warm to the touch.
Any ideas, could it be a sticky caliper? I am going to readjust then go for a ride and not use the rear brake at first(see if it gets warm) then ride using rear brake.
After that I will take the caliper off and have a good look at everything. Anybody run into this before? Cheers?:?
