We where everywere and way up high. At some points it was following shreds of ribon laying on the trail, at other times it was "we need to go up there 150 meters over logs and through bush".... AWSOME RIDE !!!!

Seems crazy, doesn't it? Moving slower today, still feel like I'm riding somehow. Great fun all day.

I saw the bus parked on the side of the Coq on my way through. I also saw all the snow up high.:hr: Did you guys go up top? Any look at the Whipsaw? What's up there?

Nah we are saving the Whipsaw for the day of the ride

There is still snow on the sides of the Lawless FSR about 3-5 kms from the old toll booth

Wow, what a great day!!! I don't think anyone who was on this ride will ever forget it. Lots of fast FSR roads where you could play Joe Hotshoe to your hearts contents, some fantastic B single track and some adventurous un-explored trails that didn't come out where we hoped but were a blast to ride.

Here's Mark on an unexplored path trying to get his bearings:

Some of the tracks just kept getting gnarlier and gnarlier:

But with Tom leading us it all worked out OK in the end.

Sometimes it wasn't hard to find your way

And other times the way through wasn't all that obvious, so you just followed the path of least resistance and hoped it would get you through.

And there's something about lunch on the trail that is just way better than what you'd get in any restaurant.

A great day with great people; who could ask for anything more.
