Seat Concepts Seat

I'm thinking of one for my 2012 WR250R. Anybody else install one? Is it a completely useless upgrade for trail riding? I've been using cycling shorts and that helps, but any road time whatsoever and the rear side gets pretty numb and sore. They have a low rise option too which would probably adjust the seat height right to where I need it in the trail.

I put one on my DR650 last year and to tell you the truth, it didn't help as much as the hype suggested.
The stock seat on the DR is a thing of legend...as anyone who owns one would attest. It is something along the lines of a "padded" 2 x 4 turned on edge, and has been compared to a "Medieval torture device"...
The Seat-Concepts seat uses the same pan...that in itself should tell you something. I'm not saying it's a complete waste of time, but if I had to do it again, I would spend the money on a Sargent's seat instead.
With the SC seat, my comfortable riding time went from about 3/4 hour (stock seat) to about 1 hour...an improvement, but not a huge one.

Just saying....YRMV.
