Yesterday afternoon I rode the loop around Shuswap lake on my mostly stock DR650. Perfect conditions, almost no traffic, mostly good weather and spectacular scenery. I started and ended at Squilax, well technically I started and ended in Kamloops. The last time I attempted this route, some bridges were washed out but this time the entire road was in great condition. No challenges except maybe for the remoteness and solitude but those are also benefits.
