Shuswap lake to Squamish

I’ve contemplated this route for a number of years to see a high school buddy I haven’t seen in 20 years. From what I can gather it would seem a lot of pavement which isn’t my thing on a WR250R. Maybe leave the truck in Lillooet and do the Highline? The more off road the better but I’d like to get there in a day.

Lots of options on the east side of the coast mountains. Only two ways from Squamish but the Duffy Lake road is a pretty nice choice even on a 250. All off road in one day might be a challenge without a clear idea of your route.

Thanks. Good info. Maybe with a few off-road sections the 99 would be ok. I’ll get working on the route.

You might want to truck it to Harrison Hot Springs and ride from there if you want to do the ride in one day.

Here's a weekend trip I did to Falkland that you could use parts of. You could take Douglas Lake FSR to Monte Creek FSR but then you're still going to ride some pavement into Salmon Arm
