If you look back a page or two in this thread you'll see we've ..been there and done that... it seems most did not like Ma Millers for different reasons (too bad, I could crawl home from there!) Smokin Bones is too small and too rich for a weekly meet.

We were both wrong as the wings were 55 cents but the beer was $5.25. I got out of there for $17.60 for beer 20 wings and tax.

The food was good but the seating probably wouldn't work unless we got the "sports" room to ourselves. Which was vacant when we were there.

I guess the Roadhouse didn't cut the mustard. Great patio that we had all to ourselves. The food I had was good but pricy. I could see the burger didn't make it for the price. Generallly, far too few choices and way too much money. But, 10 minutes and I'm home. That's a plus!

I know I never make it to the pub night,but ,I thought you might want to try West Arm Grill in shawnigan.....lot's of room,views over the lake, and a nice ride to get there!

another idea, go play in some twisties, out in East Sooke, and try the Castle for dinner. I know they used to be good, but haven't been in a long long time.
