This weekend will probably be the last chance for a TRAIL ride for us as we prepare for the first two Nationals in Summerland on the May long weekend! Nanaimo river???? I know Legionnair has never ridden there! Matt now has a GoPro as well so we would love to film that, or where ever we go!

I think it would be great, only been there once, and Legionnair hasnt been there.... time......maybe 10am and that way everyone can be home in good time

Turn off the highway onto Nanaimo River rd. (just north of the Nanaimo airport). You will go right off the highway and then go under it and we will meet across from the Hub City Pit at 10am and then drive to where we will park.

Cool. It always helps if you can ride with other people when starting out on a trials bike who can give you tips to make it easier. Where did you ride?

I wasn't really riding with trials riders, which is probably why my trials bike didn't work out well for me. We were riding at Mill Bay typically and I was always with the enduro gang. Mostly I tried the trials bike as a light, big-wheeled alternative to a standard-sized enduro bike (which tends to be too big for me). I do like that the trials bike handled well (like a mountain bike almost) but it just wasn't something I could ride for sustained periods of time. I found you just can't be a sloppy rider on a trials bike, or it just doesn't work. :p
