Tail Light and license plate holder for 09 KLX250S

Hi,

I've got a 2009 KLX250S and I'm looking to replace the existing tail light and license plate holder with something a little smaller.

I'd rather not chop what's already there, but replace.

I have come across a Edge-2 LED Tail Light from DRC.

And it looks like they have one for the KLX250S.

Has another installed this, or any others?

stigcanada, just installed one on my 09 DRz400s this weekend, also some turn signals. well made product simple install on my bike 60 min. top. included electrical connectors clear straight forwrd instuctions. so much less bulk on the rear and quite bright lamp.

Where did you purchase this from?

And did you have to cut new holes in the license plate to fit onto the license holder?

Picked mine up from www.wheelingcyclesupply.com my contact there was Forrest Green, they ship USPS, he label it under 30.00 and I received 7 days later, no customs. Took around chain sawfile to the out side of the oblong licence holes approx.1/4 in. at each end and plate fit and looks great.

I just browsed http://www.wheelingcyclesupply.comand I see they have a KLX 250 specific version of the tail light.

I looked at the edge kit. But I heard its hard to see and not very bright. I just ordered this one: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B00ANJARY2/ref=mp_s_a_1_15?qid=1370647638&sr=8-15&pi=SL75

hopefully it works out. But if not its only 20$
my fmf pipe melted the stock signal so I'm hoping to eliminate the stock signals and tail fender.

Just ordered one as i am getting tired of replacing scraped off turn indicators. I think I am onto my 4th set already. I guess I could stop taking the DR 650 on the tight single track .

I'm very much interested in this is well. The lower fender goes down too far.
