This Saturday Nov. 9th at Tamahi. Russ and Randy have put together the DSBC Movember team.

From Russ -

Meet up for 9am and head out for a C to c+ plated Ride, likely will also have some A & B rides heading out as well. Please RSVP for bbq by donation.

This event is free but we encourage you to show up prepared to make a donation to Movember Team DualsportBC (Team link to follow) or to send an donation ahead of time.

Male (and female) cancer and mental health are real issues and we need to bring awareness and create an open environment where people can talk and ask questions.

Ever heard of a guy getting Breast Cancer? A Guy under 35? Well it happens just ask me.

I'm gathering a few of the Kamloops crew and going to trek down and back the day of the event. We'll definitely be doing an A/B tour.

BBQ hot dog... are you sure ? considering the reasons of the cause...
can we suggest something a little less processed.
Not saying deep fried silly puddy is better,
just thinking of ways to help promote a anti cancer mindset.

DSBC is always looking for volunteers; so if you or someone you know is willing to step up then please do so. and we'll all thank you for it.
Otherwise we're drowning in suggestions...

Pistonslap that's a great suggestion that we will address for next Movember, just too close to the day to change gears this time. Hope to see you out there, we will have a limited number of veggie Dawgs available.

Would have liked to have come out to support the ride and see the Loopie Boys, but I have a conflicting hockey game starting at 1pm in Delta.

It was nice to leave the Kamloops rain behind and ride Tamahi!

The trails were in great shape. Thanks to everyone for showing me around. It was an awesome ride and good to see the support for Movember.

Big thanks to Judy, Randy and Russ and the other volunteers who organized this ride. Remembrance Day weekend has historically held some awesome conditions and this year did not disappoint!

Thanks for a great ride, the morning drive from Kamloops was above freezing and clear the whole way down. This lead me to be about 45 min early

This allowed me to spend some time to pick the perfect parking spot

And no worries about some Yahoo parking too close because there is a nice no parking spot right beside me:rolleyes:
