The Hurley and Highline roads - Jun 2020 conditions?

Hi folks,

Heading up to do some camping outside of Pemberton next week and wondering if anyone has been over the Hurley yet? I'm assuming the Highline road is open, but not sure if I can do the full loop

Hurley is surprisingly immaculate (for an FSR thats covered in ice half the year.) Blasted across it yesterday on the annual Hurley to Highline 500km epic loop. Highline is closed (gate across it), but bikes can get through, at least coming from the Seton Portage side...

Did some more googling after reading your post and it seems that there is a rockslide on the Highline. Will probably avoid that just in case (solo on a Super Tenere doesn't mix well with slides )

No slide (as of yesterday), with the limited traffic, Highline is in great shape.
Be warned - this is a rough road with blind corners, silty sand and loose rocks (on occasion), and steep drops off the side, that will end anyone that goes over them. While the road itself is not difficult, due to the aforementioned parameters - intermediate or better skill and extreme caution is recommended.
On every corner stay as tight as you can to the inside; had 3 near misses yesterday with the usual idiots driving way to fast ?

I saw 2 guys on big bikes who had gone off the road down the lake side on the Highline a few years ago and luckily they didn't get killed or hurt too but no idea if they ever got their bikes out.

IMO ride with care on both the Hurley and Highline and really like any FSR
