Our group split apart after
teslin with Mark piloting his rewelded 1190 towards grand prairie to visit family Stu Floyd and Russ headed along the Alcan and myself back down the Stuart Cassiar towards home.
When in Dease lake you have to stop at "the shack" for food, though good tasty food (and fancy choices like duck burgers) , it's more because it's the only food in town!
Carrying the best of the worst worn out tires from Dawson as an emergency spare, should the rear on the bike not last.

Still in June, a trip into the states to attend a friends Horse clinic happened. Travelling over a lot of the same roads as the "two long days" ride planned for this year. Really scenic fun riding and zero traffic.

At my age it's easy to get confused or is it easy to be baffled, not sure which. But filling with gas seems a little confusing in the states.
Um, hmm, lets see now is that stripe to the left, or to the right? DOH!

July with a thankfully new rear tire in place (though it will only be on the bike for a few weeks). A trip to the coast was done. Here along the Nahatlach rd another pana. shot that doesn't exactly work very well.

which "should" have taken me easily out to the hwy above Sp. Bridge, should being the key word here. What must've been a wrong turn placed me on the west side of Cornwall Mtn into the muddy tracks laid by the group of DSBC'ers then weekend before, riding real dirt bikes,,, yikes. do not get stuck do not get stuck. Whew! did not get stuck

July also brought a very fun two day Kamloops boys ride to Lillooet which included a bunch of plated dirt bikes and my 990.
One of these bikes is not like the others. (the GS on the right was visiting)

Here Back on the top of Cornwall this time. The mudbath to the west of here would've dried up plenty by now, whew.

still in july, when a Mitas tire was sacrificed in 1 week! it was tire #5 and the generous application of throttle while proof riding parts of the Loose Screw DS C+ was the end of it in no time. Poof! gone, great while it lasted.

fetch

again happy to have a new tire on even though it will only last a week.
