Yup I gonna start a dog team pretty soon now:f: :f:

Zack and the fine people at International Motorsports sold me a New 2010 Husqvarna T 450. Im not going to tell you the price I paid but I will tell you that its the cheapest bike I have bought for more than 10 years and close to the cheapest bike I have ever bought.
Crazy Prices from that Crazy Zack.

I was not orignally in the market for a new bike, but the ribbing I keep getting from riding the BMW in Baja got me to thinking, maybe its time to increase the cc's for Baja.

For you Husky oficionatos, you already know the history of the 450, this model is the pre BMW version of the 450 motor and the concentric rear drive. It has an old fashioned carburator and standard dirt bike chain drive, 6 speed box and electric start. Some say this is what Husqvarna should have stuck with instead of going with the BMW version, I dont know but I will find out soon enough.

Safari has a 4.0g, but that might be too big for regular trail riding. IMS looks like it has built-in shrouds and it looks really good.

FYI, link is for reference, support our advertisers.

I dont plan on riding the Serengeti in the near future:gaah:
Gnarly parts is also a Sponsor, I think I would be in a lot of trouble if I didnt support our sponsors when I went out there to buy stuff. They (sponsors) always get first crack at my money.

Will the little 310 be going away now?

No plans to get ride of the 310, why you interested? When the time comes I will post the bike here on DSBC first. I have done that with all my bikes and they have sold within days, usually hours. I usually price them right. I start here http://www.bluebooktrader.com/ canadian pricing then set my price accordingly

No price for the TE310 yet but if I were to sell it would be in the 6000.00 dollar range

Just took it for a spin around the block, I forgot what a carburated engine feels like  even makes my ol BMW seem a little harsh.
We'll see how it goes at Church tomorrow and report back

No, not interested Tom, just curious. I am sure there will be a lineup for the 310 if you do let her go.

First Ride First Impression

First Ride First Impression

..................................WOW......................................

I did not expect how nice this bike was going to handle and perform

It was a break in day so no full throtle and nothing too crazy. 65km 3.1 hours. Manual sez 4 hours for break in, I think I will change the oil and skip the last 50 minutes.

The suspension is much smoother than expected, the throttle response, well it was smooth. With all that power and cushie ride it reminded me back in the old day when my dad taught me how to drive in his Buick on the gravel roads. Lots of power, Automatic and smooth.

I just might have a new favorite pet
