I'm good to go any time. 00Buck what's the earliest you can get away? If we meet at 5:00 or 5:30 and head up we can stop for a bite in Nanaimo then head to the open house.

So let's meet at Tim's near Costco/home depot at 5:00 or 5:30 pending 00Buck and anyone else who has a time constraint.

Howdy Guys

I will be attending this meeting and would like to sit with you guys. Just want to give you all some moral support and find out to see what unfolds. Are you somewhere beforehand? post here or pm me.

I will introduce Peter Spraque from BCORMA to you, hope he has some time to talk to us, if not at least you will have a face to go with the name.

See you tomorrow around 5

Hey guy's, I am just trying to get an idea as to what time we are going to attend the meeting?

I see that it starts at 6:30?

Thanks,

Martin

OK guys & girls, any thoughts on a departure time? I can leave any time after 5:00 pm. Looks like some can't leave till 6:00pm or around that time. That would put us up there around 7:30pm. It's an open house but arriving at this time will we miss any talks or forums that are sechduled? Leaving at 6:00 pm would also put a squeeze on any dinner stops.

Any general consensus?

I'll be there as well. Should be able to make it to the meeting by 6:45 or so.

I will be a t Tim's by Costco/Home Depot at about 5:00, rolling at 5:30. That puts us in Nanaimo at about 7:00. We'll do a fast drive by at Lee's (about 6:00?), but no stops after that.

I will probably be taking my truck if anyone wants a ride. (I know I know! I spent that last two days struggling with a fever etc.)

If this timing doesn't work for you then please add an additional post with alternate plans.

I'll be there representing motorcycles, mountain bikes and hiking, the three things I use the trails for. I'll also be picking up 00Buck and Kiwi.

Thanks everyone for coming out! That was a great turnout from what is usually a small group. I think the point was made loud and clear that there are many types of trail users and ALL should be heard from and accommodated as best as we can. It is clear that banning everyone who uses mechanized or motorized transport is not even remotely an option. Cool!

Fantastic turn out from Dual sport B.C. at the Nanaimo trails strategy meeting. Lots of members for Victoria, Ladysmith, Nanaimo and Parksville.
