a few of us are headed out melrose pit for some hard work and fun on sunday march 16th.

not really a family ride but of course all are welcome.

9:30 am at melrose pit.

I finally have one of those funny little bikes - Gas Gas 160. Now I have to learn how to ride this thing.

yes I will be on the trials bike.

come on out anyways.It did'nt look like you were having any problems last time we were there and I was trying to follow you through the single track.

I didn't think you looked out of place riding up behind Trialslord's once upon a time. Besides, I'll see if the family is up for a gathering which will mean we bring the whole stable. If so, you can play on the Monty, but only if you promise to kick it away if you need to. Bikes can be fixed much easier than ourselves.

I'll be there with at least 2 of my girls. They're really keen to try their new (to them) TTR90 on a real trail:dr: not just riding around in the boring back yard. :shock:

I would like to check out the melrose area i hav'ent riddenthereare the trails more trials type or regular dirt bike stuff.

Freeway from Nanaimo heading up Island

Turn at exit into Qualicum Beach - Port Alberni

Stay on highway Four for approx 8 kms

Melrose Road is on the Right ( go over train tracks right away = good sign)

Whiskey Creek General Store is too far.

Continue on Melrose for a few km's and turn right at the first intersection. Goes to dirt.

Turn left at the next wye and your there.

The Trails are Class A dirt bike trails :D

But we are Old and Lazy so there will be a lot of Trials Bikes there :clap:

There are easy trails for the kids :hf:

Don't forget to bring Hotdogs & Hot chocolate ;), becouse I'm sure there will be a Fire :tup:
