trifecta '06

The Trifecta will be in early June most likley.
It will be a verryinformal ride.....( not heavily planned or routed out).
We will have a start point and finish point each day and will be using GPS to help us to our destination.
The plan is to keep the group small so everyone rides together and does not get too spaced out
....not that kind of "spaced out" There will be prolly 8 to 10 riders.
Merritt or near there will be the overnight spot for the 3 days 2 nights in a campground .
It will sorts like this:
Friday night: Show up to the camp spot.
Saturday: Day trip..long day trip of some pavement, gravel roads and trails to Lillooet / Carpenter lake or Pemberton area and back.
Sunday: Ride to Kamloops and back vis Douglas lake , Roach lake , Greenstonemtn,Logan lake and back .
Monday: Some old KVR to Princeton and back.
From there guys can go home or stay an extra night.
Rusty is coming back from Auz in the next month or so .I want to check when he is available so he does not miss out.:dr:
I will prolly do a coupl of pre-rides to find a good rout on the Kamloops section in May:tup:

thanks joker for considering me in the planning of trifecta '06! :br: we're hoping to be back in the loops in a month and stick around for a long while. so i should be able to go at any time, really! :clap: just need to change a seal on my DR, the one between the crankcase and cylinder. i could probably use the help of a DR shop manual or maybe even an experienced mechanic -- wink wink nudge nudge say no more say no more.
looking forward to getting out riding again. i have some pics and a story to post about a bike we rented over in NZ, i'll do that ASAP!

So Paul.................here are some suggestions of areas I would be interested in.

Merritt-China head-Goldbridge. What is the name of the mtnin that area ,is it Tyax?This would take up 2 days , spend night in Goldbridge then maybe back through the Chilcotin , cut over to Vavenby and hit the North side of Adams lake and the the Mumich to Shuswap and head to Kelowna-Summerland then KVR it to Merritt again(there would be another night in there somewhere).

But is there more than "KLRable" routs?
Are DR650's and KTM's allowed on the Island?
I think I would be able to do a 3 nighter....maybe 4.
