Turn signals and mirrors

Hi all,

I picked myself up a 2010 Husky TE450 a couple months ago - which absolutely rocks.

Only thing is I've had some, shall we say, issues with the turn signals and mirrors not putting up with a fall.

Has anyone replaced their turn signals with aftermarket ones that are flexible? For mirrors, do you normally remove them for offroad?

Thanks!

I've snapped off two sets of turn signals, the license plate bracket and two mirrors...

Just ebayed a new set of signals, moved the plate up, bought new mirrors (plan on taking them off for off road excursions).

I put an Acerbis plastic folding mirror on my 99 360WR when new and it's still there, through hell and back. I used the small rectangular clearance lights from Lordco for signals. $3.50 ea. when numerous new ones were needed. Never had problems with the law, but technically clearance lights are not legal for turn signals. Still have all the originals on my 07 510TE

Hey Neil -

I have a TE510 replaced mirrors and rear turn signals before they could be destroyed. I haven't had any troubles with the front ones, yet.

Mirror (integrated with handguard), from Highway Dirt Bikes.

Here is the taillight / signal light combo I put on in place of the stock mess. Its a light bar from custom dynamics, with integrated signals and brake light. Signals are not super bright, but at least they don't break off. Here are instructions and info on how to do it (http://www.cafehusky.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4547)

I have a 2010 te450, mine came with folding mirrors, good for goofing around between work and home. For serious off road I take them off. I put on some K&S square LED's (very flexible) on front, stock on back soon to be replaced with LED's. You will require the LED relay.
