Under powered ?

My 690 was having some issues with power delivery, after trouble shooting, I found the culprit:

I've since replaced the stock front sprocket with an Ironman 15 .
Think this will help with my fuel economy ?

Wow I don't think I have ever seen one that worn, but I know where your bike has been......
Did you replace the rest of the drive train at the same time?

Alternatively, you could have left that on and swapped the chain out for a belt.

That little 690 engine probably had a hard time turning a sprocket that BIG.:Stir

Try a smaller one!

Looking at the sprocket picture, I think the thread should be renamed "Under maintained"
with that kind of maintenance you should buy a Suzuki :Stir

MY 690 has been through the ringer, but those Austrians know how to make reliable bikes ! She's just under 30K - but all the places she's taken me, and fun I've had with her - she's truly worthy of the "Adventure" moniker :tup:.
