URGENT-----Helmet Cam?

Anyone have a helmet cam I could borrow for the weekend? I know it's last minute, I know it's a bit of a stretch, but here's the deal.....



Me and a couple friends are working on pitching a documentary series. There's a conference happening next weekend in Victoria in conjunction with the film festival that we've just recently signed up for and we really want to put together a teaser trailer for it. Itwould basically be a long continuous helmet cam/pov shot. If someone does have one and would be willing to lend it we'd pay to have it shipped express. I have a mini camera for the recording part of things, would just need the helmet cam and the power supply. Obviously we would be more than willing to assume full liability in case of damage or destruction, but it's just a quick on road shoot we'd be doing.

A buddy of mine has been asked by a local B.C. film maker whay all these dirt bike videos are all about( Crusty & the like)

He is interested in doing a film involving motorcycles. As far as I am conserned if you have seen 3 of those things you've seen them all.



I think whatI will do is get ahold of him myself and tell him about the Dualsport craze hitting out province!!:clap:A verry good mivie could be mad about the type of rides we go on and the sights we see...........all leaving from our front doors.





I'm gunna call him right NOW!!!

WAIT!!!! don't call him, call ME!! That's exactly what I do. I own a video production company with a friend and I work in Television News for my day job.

I haven't seen any of these dirtbike videos, but I imagine they're much like the same in the snowboarding/skateboarding/mountainbiking genres. Lot's of quick clips of cool tricks set to high energy music with a bit of lifestyle footage mixed in. Not rocket science.

I'm always open to discuss ideas.... Hopefully, after next weekend I'll have some good connections to get it to air or distribution....

Oh, and on the helmet cam tip... I think I might be covered. I'm making a call to T.O. in the morning and seeing if I can have something shipped her by friday night..... If not, I'll still be in panic mode....
