Hit the road at the crack of just after noon with a mission of some paved miles as it's been several months since a real ride. The Rotopax was mounted up to allow more miles between fill ups so only 1 gas stop required. (making a whopping 420k total), After donning thermal pants, warm shirts, heated vest all layers in the jacket, balclava and a Mitas neck thingy (thx Colin at MX1) and nice warm gloves and deliberately leaving the lighter warmer weather gloves on the shelf, (real smart). Those gloves were the icing on the cake, as once riding it proved that I was waay overdressed for the day, and couldn't even go to lighter gloves. Who cares. it was a Stunning day and stellar ride even took some pics.
After a nice mellow cruise out to cherry creek it was time to bounce things up a tad by heading up towards six mile. The Loops to the right Tobiano in front and savona lookout on the left.

chack! smoke from the co-gen plant in downtown Kamloops.

Pat lake, several acres in size and over the years usually has approx. +/- 4 boats with people fishing on it. Nothing like a pandemic to bring people together. Tthere were an honest 2 dozen! boats, and trucks. It looked like there was a tournament (?) going on. crazy. This panorama makes it almost look spacious.

from where the lake pic was shot, this is turned around..
It s a huge 8 shot stitched pic.

mmm, "big smoke's thataway"

the next little pond was covered in boats of all description as well. The ride across to Savona was a good fun. Tumbled thru the ghost town of Cache Creek on the way towards Ashcroft, then back up to the hwy. for a little bit of twisty roads.
Then on to Spences Bridge, home of the majestic, Acacia Grove Resort and Luxury class Cabinas which is located along the rivers edge in Downtown Spences Bridge...
In Spences Bridge.

Stopped along the river for a bike to eat and a beverage, and a lay in the sun listening to the river. Nice to be outta the house.
Hoodoos Just west Lower Nicola.

look at the, most awesome Orange hoodoos, I mean, Look at the Hoodoos.

Well, guess there's another post coming as there's a 10 pic. limit and it's been hit. From Lower Nicola, I blasted, er, rode along to Mamette Lk. past Tunkwa thru to the Six Mile cut-off again, then an exit stage right on the Hwy to home arriving well on reserve, and that was after adding the Rotopac. Apparently I got bad gas mileage, what could've possibly caused that? Terrific day. something like 350km and home in time for dinner.
thx fer lookin. couple more pics. to follow.
