valve shims needed

where can I get size 2.45 KLR 650 Valve shims shipped to me overnight?
If I order then from my local dealer I will end up waiting 3 weeks or so like last time I ordered something and if I order them from Dual Star, long wait too. Just my luck, I ordered the Dual Star Valve Shim kit and I need 2 shims that were not in the kit.
Just want to know which dealer stocks many and reliablity will ship it overnight?
I live in Salmon Arm.

Some info on my valve Clearances after 5,000 K on my 06 for anyone interested.

Left Exhaust .007 in
Right Exhaust .007
Left Intake .006
Right Intake .005

I know the clearances are still fine, but I want the clearances on the higher side so
I don't have to check them for awhile.

Funny you should mention that as I just talked to Chris and he is just Greyhounding them to me! I should have known Kamloops would have stocked them.
Thanks.

just be sure to give em a good wipe before install, I might have spilled some beer on em when I pulled em out.

For all of you who have tinkered with your KLR valves, by setting the clearance to
the high end of the scale, did you really notice an initial power loss before they start to tighten up again?

With Shimcalc and a second try to get them closer to what I wanted, I finally ended up
with

Exhaust Left and right .0085in

Inlet left .0065

Inlet right .0075

If you set the clearances to the wide end of the range, it will decrease both lift and duration which will (in theory) reduce flow and so, power. Haven't actually noticed a difference so it will be interesting if anyone has noticed any difference. Seat of the pants isn't very reliable though, so a WOT run up a long hill would be more revealing. I haven't noticed a marked difference up the Hope Slide Hill after a valve adjusment on the KLR.

That's nice to know. It also feels good to know the clearances will be fine for many miles now.
