This Thursday is on ! Gather round all ye faithful, for another journey into the unknown ! In Vancouver @ St David's @ 8.30, in Squamish @ the Chevron (Garibaldi) around 9:15ish. Weather will be great, and the riding will be too !

Not sure how late the day will go, if not too weary, perhaps a shorter secondary trip on the FSR behind the chief for those not available in the morning ?

Will you come down and meet me (and any other tardy riders) at the Chevron around 3:40ish or should I make my way up to the staging area behind valleycliff (were the roads that go behind the chief start) at that time? I may bring another local rider whose new to the DS scene, but not new to offroad motorcycles, so we can still have a respectable size group for the second portion of the day.

It's sunny right now! Drying things up a bit I hope. I went out earlier today for a quick blast and things got muddy really quickly!

As usual, will you be in Squamish late enough for me to join up for a while before you head south again? If so let me know when/were i'd be able to meet up with the group (after 3:15). You have my email/PM to let me know during the day, or tonight.

Mark, will you be going to the Newbie ride? Which loop are you riding?

I'm game, if you're still up here by 3:15... but the weather seems to be on the less-than-desirable side (http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/cabc0279). Today wasn't bad, and tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer, but on my way home today I took a few trails, and the water and mud was on its way to being not so F650 friendly. We can stay on logging roads, but expect to be coming home a bit wet!

The Mac Blo logging road could use some exploring, or maybe we can ride up to Brohm ridge? (Ride in some snow?)

Let me know; We gotta put some more dirty miles on before the weather really turns sour!

Sorry I stopped posting my rides here for a while, but we had some spectacular newbie rides lately. Katui we must have just missed your post by a few hours, ended up buzzing around the Chief on Wednesday, kept running into the snow line. The weather is a bit hit & miss this time of year and most of our rides are a bit short notice. I have also missed quite a few after the ride posts, but taking care of the bike and gear takes priority.

No worries, I ended up going for a ride around Squamish yesterday with "Dizo", did about an hour of trail riding and a 30 mins of Gravels logging roads, lots of fun on top of the 1:30 there and back up and down the Sea to Sky. If your free tomorrow after around 11 am i'll be free unless something comes up. As with the last post, if your down send me an email st [email protected].

I'm tied up untill next week (Tues & Thurs), but I'll keep posting here even at short notice. The pain is a bit unpredictable these days.

Katui and I had a short, but good, ride yesterday up the rip, and then lavaflow with about 90% of the viewpoint trail which had a bit of snow in a few spots. I've ridden a few times with Serj (Lucky) around Squamish in the past few weeks, and once with his wife above Britannia, and we've always had a blast.

After yesterdays ride with Katui my clutch started grabbing, and today I saw that it was my clutch cable - practically snapped right off - so I wont be riding much until I can get a new one ordered, or successfully shorten my current one. I've been bad for not posting any rides in Squamish on here, but i'll try to make an effort from now on, however short notice it may be.

Looks like a nice day Tuesday. Anyone up for a ride? I'm free from 10 to 3, and would prefer to head east this time (nearly froze my @ss to the seat heading up to Squamish last week). Stave lake is not too bad on weekdays, wouldn't mind exploring the east side.

Anyone want to ride?

Anyone want to ride?

Im free during the week next week 22-26. I ride a drz 400s and am a decent rider. I live in port coquitlam and would like to find a few riding buddies. I know most of the local trails and would be down for exploring the stave/Sylvester road area. Let me know if your interested in riding. I would also be up for a longer trip if some one has somewhere in mind.
