Weekly Night riders

you shold know better rosco, can't post you got towed here without details
Electrical problems (coil went) kinda hard to fix in the dark, specialy when I am the worlds worst mechanic
so aflica got the pleasure of draging my sorry butt out of the woods in the dark ( I think he liked that part!!)
but the bike is back together and good to go for tomorrow (thanxs Dave)

Well at this time the weather is looking good for Tuesday Night the 21 st , who's up for it ?

Will keep an eye on the weather , and post up for sure on Monday night .

5 of us went out on Saturday and cleared out all the branches and low growth on 2 road sections between trails , and 2 trail sections.

That along with 2 new trails and 1 new connector trail in the last few weeks , things are shaping up nicely.
Still more to do , and were starting to hang trail name signs too.

Julius , get that light ordered , same with you Beanaround

A few of us will also be going out hopefully early one night this week with the big saw to make some mods to a couple of logs that have turned into ones you have to lift and drag over, couple of cuts into them and we should be able to ride over them again. Dont want to make them too easy

As it stands right now , we have about 2 to 2.5 hrs of cleared out night riding trails going out and then comings back in backwards on some of them.
Plans for more to take out a few more road sections ARE happening , cause riding at night is just way too cool not to do it , plus it give us more days in the week to ride.

Looking to go up to Melrose for a night ride as soon as the days get a lot shorter , were thinking of a Saturday night ride
will post up when it gets closer to see if some of the Up Islanders want to join us for that .

Maybe we should call ourselves the DARKRIDERS ??

And yes , Rosco is a true Darksider , the more goatlike the trail the more he likes it

missed tonight bad flue , but had a blast on the last one . although as Aflica can attest , in the dark the tree always wins. Especially when it stops ya dead in your tracks. did the night riding with a loaner mini light from roscopcoletrain ( big thanks) . did the trick once it was really dark but in between it was a guessing game on the trails.Ok I'm convinced ,it was a blast and a light kit will be ordered .Now which one is the question, MR16 burner or MR11 bright pair.Rubber side down guys , see ya soon
