Hi Aflica, I have been in Southern France training for the last month. (About 5 hours from the Gas Gas factory). I get back to VI next week, home for 4 days then back to work.
I'll be home mid November and look forward to riding with you guys again. What kind of trails you doing? My KTM is a little tall geared for the nasty stuff.

Hey Mud , look forward to riding with you again

You know the type of trails we like , we've been doing the Malahat to date , so some real tight stuff but most is well beaten in

If the bike is tall geared you could always pick up a smaller front sprocket for the trails , changing the front on my bike takes under 5 mins , i would think KTM's would be quick too

You got to get out when you get back , it is a total rush compared to day time riding , hard to explain , to someone who hasn't tried it (and you have) but it really gets the adrenalin going

Even easy trails in the day take on a little more Mystery at night , but we can see great with these lights

Sooo , the weather is looking real good for Tuesday Night , and that works for Quaff and Julius and myself , Rosco how about you ????? Beanaround ?????

no ride tonight as no light yet, but next time I'm in .Ride safe, play hard , get down right dirty and glug one for me.Off to the USA next week and returning home with a new set of lights among other things ( varoom ,varoom)will post my newest aquisition in a few weeks and its not the lights , ya hoo

Have you ever noticed that on the way to and from the Elk-Antler Forest Warden Cabin that it seems impossible to take the same trail? I always seem to take a slightly different route.Maybe it's a Twilight Zone trail? Maybe I am a moron?

It is fun in the dark but dammit it sucks thinking you are lost on that slimy slop

Yup!!!.... Its kinda a dark and mysterious place....every log, root, rock and Mud Hole looks alike :-0
I've only tried it once in the Dark and I was Lucky I had my GPS with me because I didn't make it and had to follow my own tracks Out !!
I had to Drag my bike out of one of those Sink Holes !!
Sounds like a Good Reason to Go Back In There :)

One time Murph and I went past Stocking Lake (I think) and ended up at that cabin as well. But with no GPS I have no idea how to find that connector again but it was a nice trail.I hope to get back in there with you boys sometime soon.

and I wont turn off my headlight so you can see when I hit the brakes :)

Good ride last night Boys , Quaff was freakin fast , And Julius and Beanaround seemed to like the slippery roots enuf to take up close looks at them.
Lookin forward to next week already , couldnt stop grinnin today after the ride last night
We cant be the only deranged people around that think Night Riding is a total blast , can we ?
