brrrrr, it was cold but heck i had a good time riding again after weeks of waiting. i must say, it was quite slippy. i guess the tires don't like the cold. can't wait for warmer riding weather.

I'd attempt it out here, but where I am there is WAY too much black ice and I don't particularly care for sliding off a cliff.

There I was, going up hill then, without any warning, I was going sideways...Earlier I had been sliding backwards with both feet, 2 wheels, and only a front brake which I did not want to touch... The pic doesnt show the 20 percent drop of doom....Great fun...This white ice demands ones total respect....And once again, I was only concerned for my bike...Hmmm this is probably gonna wreckk something....

I second that motion. Pictures are evidence of the crime, words are mere thoughts.

We hit Wood Lake for a quick jaunt today. No studs though so it's pretty sketchy underneath!

With the cold we've had, it's still plenty thick. Swan Lake is frozen too and guys have been ripping around out there. They actually took a truck and bladed off a course; looks pretty sweet. Saw guys out there on it today again. North end of Okanagan Lake is frozen too; guys out there in their pickups burning around.

It's Wood Lake in Lake Country. It's usually frozen over for a few months during the winter.

Haven't been to Penticton in a while...

I managed to finally take my bike to work yesterday!!!:dr: What a great feeling to whip off on the road and just fly. Had the 12T swapped in and boy it's nice to have that front wheel come up. I still have more than enuf jam to pass too, which is awesome. On the way home, mind you...it snowed. Got home before it set up and made the road a skating rink.
