Why do you use GPS?

Tide tables are found in the "Where to?" menu near the bottom.
Interesting tidbit, there is a temperature field you can select in the map view options under change data fields so you can see how bloody cold it is. I am testing to see if it works as apparently it is an issue on some units.
There are some good FAQ's at garmin.com thatcan be helpful.

I suggest if you are interestedin the Colorado search the web for reviews and reports. I read one where the owner dropped it in a creek and found it the next day and the only thing wrong was the batteries hadrun out.It worked perfectly when he replaced the batteries. I am sure you will find lots of postive and negative reports but ratings seem generally high.
My personal thought is that nobody wants to stock any and compete with gpscity in Calgary as they have a killer price on Colorados right now. I wish I had waited

So far I am really pleased with mine. The only issue I can report is the batteries may lose momentary contact if you are working the suspension hard causing a false low battery warning. This should not be an issue if using a power cable. The other cure maybe to mount the device in a more horizontal position or shimming the batteries. I have seen some suspended mounting systtems. This issue is not unique to the Colorado as it occurs on many battery devices subjected to high G forces. My old Vista did the same thing.
I have never experienced any leakage problems. There has been a recent software upgrade from Garmin which has addressed know issues. Some earlier models had problems with the seal on the memory card slot. You can find more info on the web.
You can check out my posts for my GPX file uploads so you can judge for yourself. As far as accuracy, as long as I don't get lost Iassume it's working.
