Why I wasn't out much this summer

I had a great time in the mud... no... make that The Mud at the Dead Zone rally this Spring but have not been out since or even been hanging around the forums here much since mid summer. Here's why (warning, new bike gloat ahead... )

Got this at the beginning of August and have been having FAR too much fun with it at the mini track nights at Boundry Bay. It's a Husqvarna 510 Motard and came just as you see it other than for the axle sliders and bark busters. For a VERY brief moment I thought about getting some dirt wheels and use this as a Dual sport after I get the lights and plate on it but tossed it quickly when I realized that the power would kill me on the trail. I'm keeping the DR350 for riding with you guys. This thing is a real arm strecher.

See you all at the banquet...

I've thought all along that someone would blame me for buying a bike that matches my leathers. BUT IT WAS PURE COINCIDENCE I SWEAR! ! ! ! Just to take off the heat notice that I'm wearing my clashing green gloves that I won as a door prize at Sportbike West a few years back.

It's more fun than the chainsaw and a lot less complex than the sewing machine.... :D

The funny thing is that Husky sold the motorcycle division to MV Agusta so I'm actually riding an Italian Swedish bike made my Agusta. DANG thats pimpin'!!!

What ta' heck. Here's another shot. Sorry to keep putting my leg in the way but I keep forgetting to do some posed shots of the bike and all I've got so far is shots taken of me riding courtesy of other folks.

Beautiful looking bike there Bruce. Good for you!

The photo depicts a nice change from the chicken strips yousported on your 600 at Mission.

Now get off the seat & get your knee down!

(The more you ride your 350 with us, the more comfortable you will get with all your other riding. But you already know that.)
