Why you should change your oil...

Today I changed the oil for the umpteenth time (34k) on my 06 KLR. As I removed the low profile magnetic drain bolt I finally found the missing link! No, not a chain link or other critters but the missing end of my broken Doohickey spring that I replaced at 24k.

Therefore, you should:
  1. Change your oil (...after changing your Doohickey )
  2. Check / replace your Doohickey
  3. Install a low profile magnetic drain bolt
