2010 TE250 from International Motorsports

UPDATE: When I am ready to buy another bike, it will be from a site sponsor who will treat me well in the coming years and will provide a bike with warranty, no issues at registration, and test rides! :D

I emailed these guys about the 2010 TE250 that they list on their website for $5,999. The USA bike comes in a crate and there is no freight or PDI. I assume because you put it together yourself.

The 2-year warranty doesn't transfer over to Canada, but as they are going for $8,889 +freight/PDI locally, it might be worth it to take a look into one for the $3200+ savings.

Anyone else have any experience with International Motorsports and registering a Husky since they are not on the RIV list?

i've heard good things about international,ask them,condition of sale if it can be plated in b.c. check on parts availability,even though bmw bought them out about 3 yr's ago,i think they are still "switching the warehouse's etc". I do hope it's in place by now.

Husky TE250's are not going for $8889 locally. That's MSRP.

The whole RIV thing is a grey area. I would personally like a bike I never have to worry about being "legal" but then based on where I work that probably sounds biased. But it's the truth.

Yes, I don't want to worry about it either. The LOW price caught my eye.

I am not buying this year, but was looking around and I have a friend that bought a off-road only bike from IM. Thought I would take a look to see how they work.
