The plan is to meet up at the Old Settle Pub in Harrison Hot Springs this Sunday, August 11, at 10:00Am (the Old Settler is on the right side of the main road into HHS right at the village). We'll ride up the east side of Harrison Lake and go over Kookipi to Keefers and then up the west side of the Fraser to Lytton where we'll cross on the traction ferry and have lunch. After lunch we'll ride up hwy 1 for about 15 km to the Nicomen FSR and take it back to Boston Bar. From Boston Bar we'll return via hwy 1, although if some people want to return via Kookipi that's perfectly OK.
This will be a long ride (although not as long as the one we did last week - according to my GPS I rode 666 km last Sunday) and big bike/newbie friendly. There is some very picturesque scenery on this route so we'll make photo op stops along the way - bring your cameras.
The longest leg without gas is from the Old Settler to Lytton, a distance of about 150 km.
There are several short but rough sections on Kookipi but we'll stop and group up at them and make sure everyone gets through OK. Should be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to another great group of riders like we had last week.
