I want to try again on Sunday and see if the Harrison East is clear of snow to Keefers. I'm going to stop in at Bruce’s for breakfast with Alex if anybody's interested in checking it out. I was there two weeks ago and it was still snowed in but I'm guessing it should be fine now. Nothing major, I have to be back by 4pmanyway. If there time screw around and go on some of the spurs around there and just explore.

I took a quick rip up Norrish tonight and the loggingshow is full on. I spoke to the grader operator at about 15 kms in and he said he was closing the gate in 20 minutes. I booted up to the former ''logjam'' site and a little beyond then turned around.

No snow at 24 kms.

I arrived at the gate and the operator waited for a few minutes for me in case I couldn't get under. Good guy huh?

I made sure to compliment him on the outstanding job he did on the road. It was sweet.

If I hadn't beenconcerned about the gate I probably would have gone alot further as the evening was still young. As it turns out they have removed alot of soil frombeneath the gate so it is now semi-rideunderable.( Is that a word ?)

I wouldn't mind going up the Harrison East too.

Good ride. Good thing we didn't go to Harrison East cause we would've still hit snow. We hit snow at 2200ft at Norrish Creek. Here some pic's:

Yes the slide was here:

The snow level where we turned around was here:

49°18'16.43"N 122° 5'17.73"W

And the bridge here was decomisoned and impassable here:

49°18'2.36"N 122° 5'33.55"W

Hey Alex , the slide was about 2kms past the old logjam site.

Disappointed that we couldn't make it around to Chehalis or back Dickson Lake way.

The gate is better described as ''dragyourbikeunderable''. I tried going underwith the engine running andin gear (to save face)but I stalled bigtime.

Finn found the start of a trail to bypass the gate but it needs work. It looks quadable.
