Good to see every one that made it out toBruces, considering the start time we scaled it back and just poked around East and West Stave tightening loose bits and loosening tight chains. Beef jerkyrideanother time. Still managed a workout and sore wrist myself. Didn't see the crew heading out from Kits at 10:30(240th&Dewdney) so we just motored on.

Cheers, Alex.

Always good riding in these parts, good mix of road, gravel, rocks, mud, sand ,rivers and lotsa friggin dust today! Traffic was thick! Couple of spills and a few good laughs, we had a blast. 9 DS Bikes 15+ hogs and a few sportbikes for breaky, getting a little tight in the dining room! we'll just have to eat on the patio

The beers and fries went downso good at the shake n shingle :hb:.

Had a great day. Thanks for making this Newbie feel welcome. Thanks to Alex and Greg for helping with tools and chain issues. And for helping pick me after my post creek crossing spill. And thx to Brian for keeping me company for the ride back to North Van. I look forward to more Sunday fun, and will be a little more prepared next time.

Hey Pete,

pipe works great, a lot quieter, much more neighbor friendly. And as far as the power, I really have not felt any noticeable difference. Thx tons

Cheers, Glenn

They choose chaps, we choose muddy boots and broken stuff. My wife would prolly prefer me wearing chaps, purely from a financial standpoint;):).

O.K. lets go halfers, Alex.

We could share the cost of leather pants, you wear the legs and I'll wear the cut offs.

Dualsport lederhosen.

You be the cowboy and I'll be the pirate.

OK the thread is unraveling, no more village people references:clap:. Got fork seals but think I'll bash around one more time this weekend on the weepy seal, then install fork seals and RAISE the DR. Think my legs are long enough now( Lane you must be going"FINALLY"). Might be riding Saturday instead of Sunday will post by Friday this week.

Cheers, Alex.

What's Lane doing to the DR now. Last time I saw him the suspension was set perfectly. Here's to ROD at RMR suspension for doing a fine job. Finally removed my rear shock, after removing the front forks and respringing them . A shock oil change is $120 from RMR. A full revaluving is around $225. I have the spring.

I noticed the difference on the big bore DS on the torque. To see the new KLR putter across the river was impressive. Mine a 400 I figure to speed threw those areas and get the same effect that torque has. ie momentum
