my co-workers think im crazy riding my bike this late in the season..but they dont realize im doing it to save the planet from excess warming [due to SUVs]i may need to put screws in my tires-on LATTKA rd, it looks like black ice in the morning ..its fun but im worried my battery wont crank the 12 to 1 comp...i guess i should stop riding itand put it away but i cant do it..anyone else out there still riding?????

I'd be one of the "crazies" but my plate ran out last Saturday. Managed to get out for a while then. Sure love goretex toe to neck. Nice here today. Chilly but dry, so if I was insured I would be out! :D

I still have the plate on the SE but Wifey is hinting that it should come off.

I don't mind the cold.. I can dress for that. It's the ice on the pavement that I worry about.

The SE made it through the first year with no scratches...so far;)

She's kept in a heated shop so starting has been no problem. Maybe I will leave it out side tonight to see how it starts in the morning.....naaaaw

I'm still running the HP2. I usually only skip riding for about 2 weeks when it gets seriously icy. I need to change to a thinner oil in winter. The bike lives outside andthe HP has a tiny little "sport" battery, 1200cc of 11.25:1 compression, and thisgets a little hard to turn over!

I'm still riding, heated grips baby! Went dirt biking in the snow last week, probably again this week. If it's sunny, I ride.

I'm still riding too.

I'm not gonna stop until the snow makes me...:):hf:

Went for a 2 hr rip yesterday and was pretty chilly by the end. I really gotta get those heated handgrips installed. I shouldn't have procrastinated over the last few months, but it was too good of riding weather... :D

The weather is still good for recreational riding but it is too late in the season for commuting to work. Too frosty early in the morning and late in the evening.

No plate and the bike cuddles up to a heater but I'm still crossing the street to the trail. Took a short rip sunday in a t-shirt and spring jacket. What month is it?

Funniest late season memory-passing a bus full of surprised folks in a snowstorm on my way back from buying skates. I'll never forget those faces!

I just have to find a way to be a little more discreet on how I massage my frozen gonads back out of my belly after getting to work!!!

The door was open, so I had no choice, but to enter.

From another forum it has been discovered that securing atether to a "insy" might be feasible to facilitateextraction of said small object.

Are you positive that "massaging" is the correct terminology for your condition?
