Well I started this thread and thank you all for your information. Anyways this after noon I picked up a 06 DRZ 400E street legal with some nice extras for a good price. I am so stoked right now. Plan on spending the day in the garage doing some fluid changes and checking it over etc. So please take me back, sorry for my absence, what was I thinking? I could never stop looking at the photo's on this forum and remembering my trips on my DR 650. I promise to be faithfull and not leave you guys/gals again. Cheers Roscoe:hb:

Right on Rosscoe!! can't wait to get out on some rides with you and Dog... only this time I am on a big bike and Dog is on a small bike... I know one place NOT to go... although i'm sure dog will try and sandbag me. Give me a shout if you are going for a ride on your days off if this snow melts. B

one thing worth mentioning is that the 400 is more expensive to buy but significantly cheaper to insure than the 650 in BC. It would only take a few years to make up the difference in purchase price depending on your discount/surcharge rating.

I thought the cutoff for insurance was 750cc when it gets more expensive to insure, and again at 1000cc? My 650 costs me about $850 for the YEAR!

FYI: Comprehensive is a different creature all together but this is how they rate class you for basic.

Nice bike.

This would be nice for the woods, the EC 300cc

Any idea how much this one costs? Fuel economy? On road performance?
