My advice is to pay for that shop to put your engine back together and then try sell a working bike!

That may not be the best advice as the cost of the parts and labor for this repair could easily run between $2000- $3000 {parts alone will be close to $2000} making your selling price that much higher to try recover those costs... I have seen these bikes similar year in good running condition go for $3500, so doing the math what will the bike have to sell for to get you any farther ahead?

This is more like an advice thread so I have decided to move it where it belongs

Not really sure if Grinder wants to sell as he is not taking up any of the offers

Thanks for all the advise probably the wise thing would be to repair and then sell just thought some mechanicly inclined person might make a offer that i couldnt refuse. Still have a couple people interested will see what comes up
