So, I installd the rally tank and my gnarly little adventure rig is back in fighting shape! i have been out doing some scouting, flagging, and mapping for the Loose Screw and I am impressed by the way the rally tank bounces! ;)

Thanks Broxy for pointing me in the right direction to find the new tank.

For now though... the Rally tank is the SH!T

My pleasure. I think you will forget about the stock tank once you see what kind of abuse the rally tank will tank. While the stock tank is pretty, the Rally tank is pure business.

I did find a product that fixed the old tank. I don't know the name, but it worked excellent! I had already ordered the Rally Tank (which is considerably lighter!!!) so I still installed it. The repair I made was with a 2 part glue of some sort. 1 part is a liguid kinda like crazy glue... very runny. The second part is very fine plastic beads. Alternating between these two products builds up a very nice smooth repair that is sandable, paintable, and apparently fuel resistant! If anyone is interested, i'll get the product name and some pics.

I'm definetly interested in the product you used, what is it???

Count me in on this one. I've been looking all over the place and everything either doesn't stick to nylon (PA6), cures hard or doesn't hold up to gasoline.
Too bad the rally tanks are not available anymore. New OEM tank costs half the price of my KTM :(.
