It might be good to take along (in your wallet) the hotel info just In case anyone needs to send a message to the group Wednesday night in the unlikely event (heaven forbid)
one of us should run into any difficulties along the way.

Hey Dean, that sounds like a good idea. I think I'll do the same. I still have my BC Hydro hard hat so I'll leave it prominently displayed on the front seat so they'll think I'm legit. Do you know any of the personal at the BB sub re getting permission etc.? I've been out of the loop (retired) for 10 yrs now so I'm pretty much a stranger to them all.

I am going to take the Sea to Sky route. So I will be at the church at 10 AM. I work nights and that will give me more sleep and the Fresh Salt will invigorate me. :)

Sea to Sky Group

Old Phart, North and Waltermitty are meeting at the church at 10:00AM and will meet up with The Count and Zeddy in Mt. Currie

The only rider unaccounted for is:

If your name does not appear on one of the rider groups above and you still intend on making the ride be sure to get to the meeting place early because the group will not wait for you if you are late.

Looking at doing this ride with Gord from the church in N.Van. meeting there at 10am.
Who else is meeting there?? My cell is 604-987-5854 - (maybe we should share numbers so we can make contact if split up? Feel free to PM to me :))

1. What is the route planned to get home on Thursday and
2. is there hotel room space in Lillooet (even to share and share costs?) as it will be a pain to camp in the rain and I want to travel light as possible...

I love last minute plans as a lot of the best made long term plans get laid to rest....:p

John, our trucks won't be bothered by the Hydro staff but I can't speak for the locals. It's a pretty small enclosure so we may have to leave them outside the fence.

Cell coverage is spotty once you get "beyond Hope" but for Alex and Steve meeting in Chilliwack call me at 604-819-5954 if you have any last minute changes.

Looking forward to a dust free ride! Yeah team!

I'm still coming - had a brain fart and got real busy and forgot to check this thread, even thought it was a Thursday departure!!

I'll meet you guys in Boston Bar at 10:00 tomorrow,. now I have to get my ass out there and load my bike. lol

Hey all.
Kerry and Shawn.....I made it back to Van safe and sound.

Hope you all had a great time. Wish I could have met up with you all in Lillooet, but it wasn't meant to be. I lost an all important bag with my wallet, house keys, phone and many many other things in it. The more I think about it, the more I remember, and the less I want too.
Huge thanks to Shawn and Kerry. You guys are rock stars and I appreciate all the help you gave me today. Next time you are in Vancouver let me know. I owe you both a bunch of beer. Seriously though, don't forget to let me know when you make it downtown.

I did manage to get a couple pictures on the camera that wasn't lost. So I'll post them as soon as I get them loaded. Priority is canceling credit cards and what not. Have a great trip and ride safe.

Got in to Lillooet after 307km of riding 60% blacktop and 60% in the rain.
11 of us at the Reynolds Hotel. All is well.

Farp, I think a great big thanks are in order of all you did organizing and leading this ride, A great big THANK YOU!

I have a great time met a great bunch of folks, I would love to do it again...in the Sun/dust!
I will post some pictures tomorrow
