Just adding this as a placeholder until I reorganize things a bit so this is more front and centre for new members.

Add a description of yourself, riding experience, what you're looking forward to this season with DSBC etc.

Hello all. I haven't been on here in a very long time but I am back to riding again. I have a Yamaha XT 225 and a BMW G650 Xcountry. I am heading to Baja 1000 this year and I am wondering if anyone else is going?

Looks like you are riding a big GS? I have a 955 Tiger, but it does not get used very much anymore, in favour of my more dirt oriented dual sports, The Husky TE450 at the moment.

Hello. I have not ridden DS for 8 years and finally got a bike again. I'm down for most riding, including single track that isn't too aggressive.
I like overnight/camping/day-rides/events/coffee-meets.
Hit me up.

Hi all,

I'm Bran, have a Honda CB500X, got it last year, hoping to have it re-registered and insured this summer. Saving up for it. Wanting to do some off-road riding up North, Chilcotin area.

CB500x, nice looking bike, not exactly a single track woods weapon but a really nice adventure bike. Make sure to take it easy with those aluminum wheels when off road.

I my get one smaller and lighter bike, too.
Not a bad idea, its way cheaper in the long term to have a smaller DS bike in the stable. they cost almost nothing to repair compared to the GS and you can use them to improve your off road skills without the worry of damaging you main machine

Hey there, hope y'all are well. I've recently purchased a 2017 f800gs and looking for riding partners. I've done a couple overnights, way up the Elaho and Sloquet hotsprings. 50/50 riding is fun but prefer a little more dirt, look to improve my skills and have some fun. Want to end the summer with a multi week trip up north into the Yukon.

Next mon.,tues. or wed.,? I've been down to Indian Arm, they have now fixed the bad washout. Also been up the Mamquam on a separate trip this year but that is it for me in that area.

We're running the inagural Hurley to Highline this Friday. Next Tues is looking pretty good for closer to home shredding.
