Its a balmy 27c here in La Paz, my first picture is of a slowly recovering Jake, he has a long face here as he has a thorn in his paw (we found this later) He is getting better and is happy most of the time. Need help doing the deads that a dog does. I had to carry him back to the motor home from here and thats where we found the thorn.

We stayed here overnight, super nice family great food and free camping 4.5 stars, I removed a 1/2 star as they only had Tecate Light. this place is on KM Marker 76 Mex 1 North of La Paz. We decided that we had no interest in actually entering La Paz on a Saturday night to find somewhere to set up and this turned out to be a real find, will return on our way back

Vern had another flat tire on his trailer, no photos but I did check the date codes on the tires and they are 15 years old. I guess its not bad that 15 year old tires made it this far? Its sunday so no tire shops are open, we did find a Walmart but its only 8o kms to Todo Santos so we will take the chance of traveling with no spare.

The highway to La Paz is getting more upgrades so there is a couple of stretches of rough temp roads,

We arrived at Todo Santos late this afternoon and had to find a place to camp, We are using the iOverlander app to find information on places on the beach, so far this is a great app to find out of the way camp spots and most are for free.

So from the iOverlander app we found this place La Pastura, this is a surfers beach with lots of people here during the day and only a few campers at night. The sand is soft and I am not interested if finding out if there is a big tow truck in town so I stayed back about 100 meters from the beach. Lots of friendly dogs (along with dog poop so watch your step) no services but we take all ours along.

Was Jake sick because of the thorn in his paw or was it something else? That must have been very worrisome for you and Sharon.
