Today is absolutely perfect for doing nothing, so while waiting for Mr J James to make our morning porridge a car drives up and this old guy gets out
One of DSBCs old friends Lars Ohlson from Vancouver Island climbs out, yes I recognised him immediately. Turns out he went to the DSBC site for no apparent reason and found my Baja trip post. He sees we are camping at La Pastura and he his winter retreat home in Pescadero, just 15 minutes away. He decides its time for a visit.
No he did not ride, he drove his car, but I did let him take the electric Voltbike out for a spin and like everyone who has tried it, he found it was fun.
Great to see old friends, particularly when it is totally unexpected, so tonight we will eat and drink together. Its gonna be fun.
Then of course there are always new friends, like our new neighbours, Nate and Sarah
After going thru my sales pitch for electric bikes we sat around for another Baja sunset
