My signal lights literally fell off the bike and were taped on my 08 KLR 650.
And so have many others, just read a little on klr650.net to understand how widespread this problem is.
Its an epedemic really.
I asked the Kawi dealer here in the loops ( yes bought it there to), and they refused me warranty, so i fixed my own with quality LED signals.
Well now I look on the kawasaki website and see its an official recall.
So for the many others who have broken signal lights, do NOT let the dealer tell you its your problem.
Its a recall, right from kawi..... Maybe dealers should not be so fast to say NO, to legit problems being warranty.
Its not like they could not realize it was a problem, because it is not like I have the only KLR with broken signals.....So they had heard from other customers I am sure, that yes they break for no reason.
On a positive note, my LED aftermarket signals work great, and they do not break.
