Here's a good winter project....get a DRZ 400"s"frame off e bay for a couple hundred bucks with the none RUM compliance sticker on it.Than take off allmy DRZ 400"e"parts and put them on the "s"frame...and WOW..I have a legal bike again.absolute stupitlaws that we have to live with,but it's legal..I love government.:mad3:If you remove the compliance label from your bike then this would apply from the bulletin"
Any vehicle originally manufactured as one of these types and subsequently modified then submitted for the purpose of inspection where the compliance label is missing, altered or illegible must also be rejected.
Once again this is not a new rule, it is clarification ofold.
