Tibarus!

I am thinking of going, I'm at 12th & Arbutus. Let me know what time you are leaving. I could use the moral support!

Are you the guy I ran into at the lights on 16th & Dunbar today at 4:30ish? Seems like you got me into this whole thing by mentioning DSBC. Thanks for the heads up!

I will be coming from willingdon and lougheed, will be meeting with a few others at the esso 232/hwy1 at o'dark early (8am).. always good to have someone to ride out with. I think I will be leaving my place about 7-ish..

should be fun as I am a newbie to the DS world, although I did take my suzuki GS500E on a few trails - levett lake anyone? that was fun and I got a few strange looks from the guys coming down from hut lake on the dirt bikes...

cheers,
S.

After a long recuperation from a back injury I was going to come for my first DSBC ride but my bike was towed by the city on Wednesday and Busters towing managed to have an "accident" in their storage yard resulting in my bike being damaged. ICBC is picking up the bike this weekend and it will hopefully be in the shop by Monday. They shouldn't be towing bikes if they don't have the skills, equipment or space to keep the bikes safe. Anyhow, not to hijack this thread, have a fun ride and I guess I'll try and make the next one.

:ss:for Sunday??!! How could that be?? This is the spring Newbie ride...:D

Looking forward to it. The 950 started like a well oiled machine so I will be out on Sunday riding 2 up with my son on the back. I guess that means I will have to behave...:?

Looks like a great turnout though!!

BigToad is in on the newly dual sported xr650r. This will be my first serious trail ride since I was a young teenager...cant wait, this will be a hoot. Did some practice runs, jumps whoops climbs and logs in a gravel pit in langley last weekend, damn i forgot how fun this is, even more so with the actual gear to protect oneself.

Anyone have a good recommendation for decent goggles that fit over glasses and can be picked up locally??

That is way too early for me Scotty! (brutal work schedule!)
I will be leaving Kits (Esso 15th & Arbutus) around 8:45, with another KLR in tow.
If anyone is interested please let me know.
Mike

PS Kerry you talked me into it this year, I'll see you there

I'll be riding out that way from Port Coquitlam if I can get the bike back together and started up tomorrow. If all goes well we could meet somewhere in Maple Ridge. I'll know tomorrow aft.
