Just a quick update on my TE310.
For the last year I was having a idling and poping problem, I tried just about everything and even spent money at the shop (two different shops) and to no success.
So these past couple of months with all the snow on the ground, I got to spend some time on one of my favorite forums Cafe Husky
http://www.cafehusky.com/
After more than a couple of hours of reading posts I came across a guy with a similar problem. Shitty idle and popping on deceleration.
Seems in the Husky manual something got lost in translation.
Manual sez se below

It seems for some reason Husky does things a little different, This bike its turn left to close.
Well if I didnt screw this up all buy myself, last summer while riding the spences bridge area, when we are at higher altitudes I wanted the bike to have a slightly higher idle, I adjusted the bike on the trail but had no success. When I had some time I checked the manual and wanted to start from a know 0 point. So I closed the adjusting screw and opened 32 clicks. Guess what? I actually opened the adjustment then closed it 32 clicks.
The bike now ran like crap most of the time, rechecked my adjustment but nothing seemed to help. Two dealers also checked the bike and thought everything was adjusted properly. So for the next year I ran the bike and was only happy when running wide open. I actually got use to riding like this to the point I thought it was normal.
This winter I read that when Husky sez close the adjustment they mean turn left to close and open 32 clicks to the right (It works kinda like a old school Volume Control)
I was so excited to read this I went in early morning into the garage and made the change, and you know what, the bike runs like the day it was new.
I am now looking at having a great 2020 riding season on my TE310
