The weather is looking good for tomorrow . I'm going to try to make a run in today in the truck to check out the snow and Gate situations and report back here later. We will get a run in tomorrow for sure , as Loz says , THE RUN IS ONLY 6 WEEKS AWAY !!
So we can get some decisions and tracks laid out at Burnt Bridge/Kapoor/Weeks Lake area or if the snow is a problem we can do the Malahat sections , but either way , the Sun and Trails are calling. For those of you who dont know the area well , the riding at the Kapoor area is outstanding , all levels of challenge . Its going to be great to get up there for the first of the season !

Sure. Watch this space for an update on where and when to meet. We'll be scouting trails for both A & B routes and will likely split into two groups to do this.

Ok , i drove in this morning and i think were going to be just fine. The first gate is open , but the second one is locked. There is an easy route around it through the creek (6"-10" of water) or you can duck under the gate . See ya in the morning at the Prov Park ,

You know Rosco , there really is no "Flex" in that TerraFlex , it just plain Excavates . But i was glad you were leading the way that day in the snow:clap:

I have a large cardboard box from a new hot water heater, maybe I'll wear it...so as to be protected from the 'Hail of Destruction' from the Terror-Flex... :wi:

Thanks for the great adventure today guys. Not sure we can call it a ride with all the trees that we had to move and snow we encountered, but I still had fun.:D

See you next time,

yes it was a good day to ride. Ok first off , i will make a addendum to my earlier post about the gate and creek bypass. It Sucks , duck under the gate ! Secondly and most importantly we did get a lot of crap cleared out of the way on the whoops trail , but there is still quite a bit of snow up there. Another week or two and it will be a lot better. Thanks to all who came out today and did way more clearing than riding. And also thanks to Julius and his never say die attitude when it comes to riding up stuff the most of us just watch

Sunday looks good. sunny and 15 degrees would be great. We'll need to leave the upper reaches of Kapoor hill and other areas nearby for later. There's another route lower down that we could scout out or possibly Mill Bay area. Anyone else?

If you want my opinion , and your going to get anyways , i think we should do Mill Bay this weekend as after what i saw last weekend i think we can get way more done here than there. My 2 cents worth
