I'm still in for Kitsault or whatever else, my last chance for awhile. Will have to resort to mostly evening rides until July. Sorry I couldn't make it it out North to watch your mud bath, didn't get home til after 7. You have to learn to shoot some footage of such spectacular escapades.

What a difference a day can make. My kids brush with the Neurosurgeon was over-rated thank God. Turns out the CAT scan was mis-read by the radiologist dude. Must be related to the goof who designed final drives for BMW. After 10 days of total hell all is well and her headaches are just headaches. The last MRI confirms her brain can stay intact for a while longer. The BMW is still hooped, but my plan is to ride the KLR northward, return home grab the kid and the truck, dump the BMW on the back repair once again and head south, and basically do the trip backwards from that originally planned.

Now that my life is back to its normal average mess, what time are we meeting in Kitwanga? and what time are we expected back in Terrace?

Let's meet in Kitwanga for 10 and we should be back if all goes well by about four or so. Gonna be a good ride no doubt.

Didn't know about Joe, sorry to hear that the stress has been up but glad to hear it's all good. Too bad about the beemer.

Jo is good the beemer is going to get a whole new ass end and life is on track once again. Jo has no warranty buth the BMW final drive is its warranteed for 2 years unlimited milage and you know what I am planning so I think its a good thing. I am also going to order up a new thrust type sealed brearing and some shims and fix up the old one to Johans specs his hit 45,000 km and still going strong.

See you on the weekend? I will be riding the KLR, good old KLR.:cool::cool:

Klrnorth stuck again. I was heading back from the Charlotte's, so it was definitely not my fault (this time);)

I am out for Sunday as we are heading out with the trailer. Have a great ride to Kitsault. It is on my list of must do rides, so save some of the exploring for next time. Have a great ride!

Does the Southern contingent want to meet in Terrace and ride to Kitwanga together? Maybe A&W at 9:00?

We, "The Southern Contingent", should disembark Armpit around 8'ish, proceed to the Thornhill Chevron for a gas up if required and meander to Kitwanga for breakie with the Dr. I wouldn't want to be tempted for a premature meal when good ol' greasy meals are available at truck stops.

Actually, when I said Southern contingent, I meant those of us whom willst be heading North to get to Kitwange, which means all of us from Terrace too. I had no intention of eating at A&W, just mentioned it on account of that where you guys met last time.

If we do want to ride together we can still all meet at the Thornhill Chevron if you prefer.

If you guys want to be alone, I'm OK with that too. Just an errant thought:cool:.

Hey one though for the DR's consideration. Would you rather meet here in Terrace so we can end the ride in Kitwanga and you are that much closer to home late in the day? Maybe it would be easier for you and it doesn't matter to us I am sure especially since you are championinig a ride all the way from Houston.

Just a thought but it makes more sense to me.

Perhaps we should wait to hear of the Dr's agenda and go from there, he likes to travel with those meat sticks, another reason to allow him to be the "Leader of the Pack"( good ol' tune). If he can't make it, we could stop at the Northern for a nibble, Fuel N Go, or Grease N Go at Kitwanga. All the same to me.

As far as I can understand we are heading to a Ghost Town, should we drag along a few Smokies for a seaside lunch?

I may have another KLR'r recruit from Terrace interested, and trying to recruit another KLR'r from Armpit. I'll hit up the Goose later.

Who's got tire irons? I'm bringing the compressor.

Ya definitely up to the DR I and I am sure most of yawl are easy as long as were rollin'. Bring food if you want but cooking it may be an issue since were not really sposed to be there and may have to make a hasty shotgun exit:clap: No it will be fine. I'll bring some Irons. In case we get some shotgun shot in the tyres on the way out. Maybe wear a heavy thick jacket too:shock::D

Apparently I waited too long to hit send, long haul for the Dr. either way. Sounds like a great time and I have been officially cleared for launch.

I like the idea of meeting in Terrace, you pick the time and spot and I will be there. I think Andy is coming and maybe that drug guy 2! I am on the KLR so it will be a slow drive out I suspect so lets not make it before 9:00

Thought you'd like that idea better. Anytime is fine by me and us I'm sure. Probably try for a ten leave. You say the time and we will meet you at any spot really but how about the tim's as you come into town by A&W for a warm up coffee and stretch. Or the W for a burger whatever you want is fine. Looks like it's gonna be a nice one!:ss:

Just got of the phone with Paul.

Unless anyone has any objections, how about 9:00 AM on Sunday at the Terrace A&W for breakfast and then head up 113?:br:

Just wondering if we need to fuel up in New Aiyansh? Thinking that reaching Kitwanga on one tank may be a gamble, but you guys know better than me.

Hey as long as he can make it by 9 I can! Definitely need to gas up the tankers up there going the long way. I may need a hose just in case.

Can't wait guys, see ya early am. I guess we're all skipping church except for Kermodei! What a brown noser:)
