Good ride yesterday Guys
Once we all found each other , Loz and i were a couple of minutes late arriving and i think we saw Fozzy's wife leaving on her KLX a few hundred yards away from the Campground , if that was you , sorry we were late and missed you

Well ..... we did learn a lot about the recent logging at Kapoor , and some changes will have to be made to the A route this year , all still workable.

AND , we did find a new trail that we were told about , made by Chris Stokes we were told , and weve Knicknamed it " Loggers Daughter South ", it remarkably reminded us of that trail in Port Alberni , tho im sure it has another name by its creator . But it did not go all the way out to anything and we had to turn back , it is work in progress I'm sure and would not be included this year I'm afraid

The weather was great , and there was some tree bruising going on , but we all made it out with no Broken Bikes or Bones !

Unfortunately , there will be some work to be done for the A and maybe the B route there this year and Loz cant do it all himself , he WILL need some help to make it another great Year for The ORCA's tougher Challenge . It wont be so much trail makeing , but more of scouting and riding the trails and re-routing some of them to a smooth and flowing pattern and some direction changes too , and this will take time for both Marking and also the GPS tracks and Roll Charts too, so anybody who can help out with this Please Post Up or Pm Loz for more info

I'm planning to ride this weekend. Could be Saturday or Sunday depending on the weather and I could use some company. I'm planning to scout / ride the first section of the A route as we have lost a section to logging and this needs to be re-routed. It should take a few hours to get this done and after this we can ride where ever.

I would like to meet at the campground for 9 or 10 in the morning. Please post up to let me know what day works better.

Hey Loz,

Sunday's weather looks best at this point but that could change. Not sure I'm "A" route rider, but I would like to help. Let me know if Sunday works or do you want to play it by weather.

Cheers

If you can do Windy Mountain on a 950 you should be up for any A loops on your 650:hb:

Thanks Loz, Aflica and Julius for slowing down enough for me to keep up and helping me up when I fell. It was a great day, I really enjoyed the ride and the snow. It's good to be challenged once and a while.

Cheers :hb:

Yourright Buck, I've edited the corrections. Is there any more preride to be done for the "C Loop" on the Orca Run?????? I would be interested in helping with that.

Cheers :hb:

Yeah Bones, there is more C to pre ride. Waiting for the snow to melt. Spring and winter have been reversed this year! One section is close to 3,000'... still two feet of snow up there.

New to dual sporting, and loving it!
Well, I've been looking forward to the Orca Run all winter only to find out the timing can't work for me :X BUMMER DUDE!

Anyway, hoping I can join some of the pre-ride/marking/clearing trips.
I really want to get the route on GPS to go with some buds at a later date.

Please keep me in mind: 250-415-6195
Thanks!
