I've got aKawi 650 KLR net weigth, rough 314 lbs. looking at 150kilos. It'snot an Endurobut HEY this is a DS site! WE MAKE IT WORK! Shestill does the trick in the mud, rocks (up to 3inch diameter) and loose gravel, sand not so much(although it could just be my experience at 3 years riding xp). Make sure you have some good knobbies or at least 50/50 tread. If you dont mind a few scratches, test her yourself.
I took myDS on a similar bit of ground near the Queensborough bridge where theres some construction happening but havnt been out round North Van, Maple ridgeorCultus... been here a year and working most of the time. I've got a rear brake pushrod problem atm so won't be making it this Sunday regretfully.
Always fun 'round town but I suggest balls out chest heaving test er yourself

Just a reminder for everyone:ted:
This is a Newbie Ride
We do not intend to take anyone beyond their skill level. We do expect that everyone is comfortable on riding on gravel roads.
The route is a deactivated rough gravel forest service road and a fully graded forest service road.
When you arrive on Sunday morning and you are not sure what skill level you are at, make sure you listenat the riders meeting
For you Nubs we have now included a couple of Special Test Sections, so you can find out what you are made of. The sections are short and will be challanging if its you first time on a trail. Lots of fun.
If you are going to be upset when you scratch your bike, make sure you stay on the main route.
For you advanced riders, I will be calling on you to help the Nubs on the more difficult sections. There are some mud holes and grades that some may need some assistance to complete. Then on the ride back to lunch we can let loose.

For anybody new, I am just joking. This is a safe fun ride. I have done the "C" route on a 1200 GS with street tires. Even if you don't know anybody, you will not be riding alone. So come on out, it's a great time.:tup: :dr::br::clap: :dr:
