A GREAT BIG THANK-YOU to all you Tahsmanians for a fun time!!! It was great to meet new people ,Re-meet old friends and ride and party with you ALL. Sorry I didn't get to say Good-bye as when I got back to the fire you locals had gone home. It felt really good to be back in Tahsis. I'll post some pics when I heal up.

Thank you to Mike,Virginia,Tim the Alderman for a excellent weekend of riding. I had a great time as you always do in Tahsis , home of the big bike friendly people.

The trek was Great ... Thanks to everyone that helped get this ride together ...

Took a few pictures along the way

Nina and I stopped at upper Klakama Lake campsite and walked the trail in the the old growth tree's

After a dinner Friday night and the surprise late night arrival of Island hopper and I-hop jr We had a good night of rest on the lawns of the campsite..
After the riders meeting our first stop on Saturday morning Was the Tahsis Lookout the clouds where just high enough to get a nice view ..

Next stop after gassing up Was a group photo in front of the sign..

Then after a little more b.s. It was time to get riding , off the the Onion lake cavers cabin a good climb up a deactivated logging road that was very well washed and was a good ride up..

Then after a stop at the Hisnit dryland sort we stopped for a hotdog lunch on the oyster beach. Thanks again to everyone the helped put this on.

Then it was time to climb to the lookout .. Turns out not so big bike freindly ...

Well thanks again .. 550km's for the weekend , A good ride , Good company , and a Great weekend for a ride ...
 
Thanks to all for coming out, I was glad I was able to get away from work for my first DSBC ride let alone my first dirt experience period. I had a blast!!!
