    GPX tracks

Hi Guys, I am without a plate again this year, and thought I might do like I did in 2016, where I ditched gas at a half way point (A route). Will you be sending out GPX tracks early this year? I'd just like to figure out my logistics ahead of time, if possible. thanks!

    Mt. Washington

Howdy all, A buddy gave me some intel on a couple of rides in the Mt Washington area east of Strathcona. One that goes close to battleship lake and the other that goes to the summit of Mt Washington. Any recent info on these road/trails? Is the summit run ok to ride with a dual sport and a...

Howdy guys, again I find myself only with my non-street legal (but registered) bike. Last year I was able to park up top the highway and then start in from there. I ditched food, gas and water at the halfway point and all worked out well.Would I be able to do the same this year?thanks!

North Chilcotins (barely) - granite creek

Planning a few days in the chilcotins. This year I go in from the north side (hwy 20 or through gang ranch - which will be about the same thing), then head south to the lakes and mountains. I wanna take the van into Taskeo river/lake area, then explore around Chilko lake and see how far I can...

The challenge of Dual Sport rides on Southern Vancouver Island

This thread is open to everyone from anywhere, as we would like your input. In the past there have been some great dual sport rides on Southern Vancouver Island (ORCA and No Work Zone are great examples). However these are no longer for a variety of reasons. One of the biggest reasons is that...

Loose screw - Thanks for the A route

Hey guys, thanks very much for the A route. We really "enjoyed" the new stuff you added. Also, it was nice for me to take my (one and only) offroad bike. I ditched gas and water at the halfway point, and this worked out very well. After 3 years we have yet to make it all the way around any...

If you travel in the US, make sure you have a self defense gun

I have been watching a thread on KTMTalk for a little while about "what rifle to get for self defense. Something in the 100-200 yard range" (he already has some pistols and a shotgun). Its about 10 pages of recommendations from various KTM bike riders of what self defense rifle to purchase...

Offroad bikes - where are you mounting your plate/sticker?

For those who have offroad only bikes, where are you mounting your plate/sticker? I got a sticker. My ICBC agent said it could be mounted anywhere on the bike as long as it can be easily removed.

    Penticton/Summerland trails/rides

I am headed to Penticton/Summerland for a week or so, and going to take the 350 with me. I am hunting for good trails or interesting day rides in the area. For trails, I already know about Bear Creek in Kelowna and Bardolph at Vernon - and the loose screw stuff. Anything in the...

Williams Lake to Bella Coola - any interesting side trips?

I have a 5-6 days between the loose screw and going to Edmonton, and I would like to make a side trip to Bella Coola. Any interesting side days trips to cool places? I would love to get a nice view of Waddington - back when I climbed that was on my hit list, but I am too lazy now... (a)...

    Crossing the Bedsprings Bridge

Back in the 70s, there was a road that went straight from Shawingan to Port Renfew. About halfway in between, there was a bridge that crosses the canyon at Williams creek, called the bedsprings bridge. Unfortunately it was torn down a long time ago, and no longer is there a way from Shawnigan...
